CASA RECOGNIZES STEVE TINGLE OF STEVE O’S ITALIAN KITCHEN The group that provides service to abused and neglected children within the HOT Counties, (Henry, Oldham, Trimble) have recognized the generosity of an Oldham County businessman. The group is CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and they recently presented a CASA certificate to Steve Tingle, owner and operator of Steve O’s Italian Kitchen in Buckner. On March 17, 2008, St. Patrick’s Day, Steve offered 10% of his proceeds for the day to support the CASA efforts in service to needy children. CASA advertised the event and the turnout was impressive. CASA is a non-profit organization made up mostly of volunteers. The award was presented to Steve Tingle by Sherri Caldwell, the volunteer coordinator for CASA and by Chief Michael Griffin of the Oldham County Police who serves on the CASA Advisory Board.
