On Wednesday November 01, 2006 at 4:00 PM Oldham County Police received a report of a pedestrian being struck by a CSX train just east of the intersection of KY 146 (LaGrange Road) and KY 362 (Central Avenue) in Pewee Valley.  The victim, Shirley Clark, age 59, of the 2800 block of Ash Avenue in Pewee Valley, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Oldham County Corner, Brett Donner. 

The CSX train was traveling in a south bound direction while the pedestrian was crossing the tracks from the Central Avenue area to the LaGrange Road side of the tracks.  

Oldham County Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
